ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Examination Instructions
Read the examination rules carefully before proceeding
Examination rules
- The examination is proctored remotely
- Ensure your electronic device has a functional webcam and active internet
- On the examination page, Click on "Click to record video and audio" for the examination to be monitored.
- You have ten minutes to fill in your details
- Examination duration is two hours and thirty minutes
- Will play a beep sound a minute before time expiration to notify that the examination time is up.
- You will be automatically logged out at the expiration of the examination time. Ensure you click on submit before you are logged out.
- You can change the language to suit you.
- Candidates must not communicate with anyone during the exam, including verbal, non-verbal, or electronic means
- Only the exam device is allowed on the workspace, all other materials including books, papers, electronic devices, and personal belongings are prohibited
- Ensure the space is well-lit and the camera view is unobstructed
- You are required to remain on camera during the full duration of the exam
- Do not open unauthorized websites, software, or additional screens, violations will result in disqualification
- Only one screen is permitted for the exam. Using additional monitors or displays is prohibited
- Flouting any of the above rules will lead to disqualification
- Disqualified candidates shall pay 25% of the original cost of the examination to reseat for the examination
- If you encounter a technical issue, notify the exam proctor immediately without attempting to bypass the software or rules
Examination format
- The examination comprises of four sections
- 100 marks available
- Overall pass mark minimum is 70 marks (70%)
- Minimum 50% of marks for each section
- Provided answers in the space provided in the examination page.

- Short answer questions

- 2 marks each
- 20 marks available
- Minimum required 10 marks
Part 2 (answer all questions)
- Short answer questions
- Brief written answer in the space provided
- 5 questions
- 4 marks each
- 20 marks available
- Minimum required 10 marks
Part 3 (answer all questions)
- Long answer questions
- Detailed written answer: use the space provided
- 3 questions
- 10 marks each
- 30 marks available
- Minimum required 15 marks
Part 4 (answer all questions)
- 3 questions
- Description of three incidents
- Analyse incidents, decide if there is evidence of nonconformance and either prepare NCR, or identify directions for further investigation (audit trail)
- 10 marks each
- 30 marks available
- Minimum required 15 marks
